  • A brand new purpose build school has been constructed with a cost of up-to $50,000 funded by Noor Foundation
  • The new school has all the facilities of high standard school
  • Shiekh Nur Ali Colow primary and intermediate in Timirshe was officially opened on 18/09/2012.
  • Up to 300 children have enrolled onto 2012/2013 academic year

 

Beeldaaje Abdullahi Primary and intermediary School

Balidhidhin, Puntland Somalia
  • A brand new purpose build school has been constructed with a cost of up-to $50,000 funded by Noor Foundation
  • The new school has all the facilities of high standard school
  • Beeldaaje Abdullahi primary and intermediate in Balidhidhin was officially opened on 18/10/2010.
  • Up to 500 children have enrolled onto 2010/2011 academic year
 
 

Ali Fahiye Geedi Primary and intermediary School

Qandala town, Puntland Somalia

Work Done so far:

  • Re-opening, reconstructing and refurnishing of Ali Fahiye Geedi Primary and Intermediate School in Qandala Town where there was no access to education for thousands of inhabitants of the town for many years. The reconstructed school was disused for almost 20 years for lack of resources and will.
  • Enrolled 200 students into the new school up from our initial target of 150 students, 48% are girls and 52% are boys.
  • The school currently employ about 10 staff
  • We are planing to increase student numbers to 350 students in 2011/12 academic year

Armo Secondary School

Armo, Puntland Somalia
Work Done so far:
 
  • Donated around $3,000 worth of equipments such as computers and printers to Armo Secondary School to print their exam papers in house rather than travelling to and from Bosaso city which is 100Km away from the town.  We are also assisting the management of the school to convert current school into a boarding school.
